Before I turned 50, I had two goals: write a book and get a tattoo. Check and check.

I've coached individuals and consulted organizations in the USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Costa Rica, Ukraine, the Bahamas, the Philippines, the United Arab Emirates, and South Africa.

My Family

My family is the best thing about me.

Julie and I started dating when we were 15. We dated throughout high school and college, except for the two unfortunate breakups in college. Both breakups happened on her birthday. Don't worry, we lived happily ever after.

We have three kids who I actually like:

  • Kid #1: Our daughter is married, and she and her husband are both nurses.

  • Kid #2: Our son is in high school and loves basketball.

  • Kid #3: Our son is in middle school and loves basketball.

My Weirdnesses

  • I once made my family stalk an NFL QB in a grocery store.

  • I visit Chick-fil-A an average of five times each week.

  • I don't like animals.

  • When I try on clothes, I do not buy the items I try on. I buy ones I did not try on.

  • My college mascot was a Blue Hose.

  • I don't let a song finish before I change the song.

  • I wear a jacket all day and never take it off.

  • I will not use yellow highlighters.

  • I like to wear hoods.

  • I stress about boarding planes and getting overhead space.
